THE PHOTOGRAPH

Resulting from the meeting, in Madrid still republican, of a Welsh father
and a Catalan mother, John Hall will study art in France
veterinarian and political science. Naturally curious, he

in the south of France.

In the '60s and '70s, the wind of revolt that blew from all
shares rather encouraged the denunciation of poverty and the glorification of
attempts to break free. That's why the photos of this
period are centered on both men and women. From
eighties, however, a certain political disenchantment
associated with the rise of ecological awareness explain without
doubts the attention paid to nature: rocks, vegetation,
luminous abstractions, which naturally led him to images
that he loves today.
